Terms of Service

1. The Service

Allgate provides a unified API that routes requests to third-party AI model providers and meters usage against prepaid credits. We are not the provider of the underlying models and do not control their availability, outputs or policies.

We may add, change or retire models, endpoints, regions and features. We aim to give reasonable notice of material changes that affect paid usage.

2. Accounts and security

• You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for safeguarding passwords, API keys and devices that can access your account.
• You must notify us promptly at support@allgate.ai if you believe your account or keys are compromised.
• Accounts are personal to the registered entity and may not be shared to evade limits or sanctions.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• violate any applicable law, regulation or third-party right;
• generate or distribute malware, fraud, harassment, child sexual abuse material or other illegal content;
• circumvent quotas, rate limits, billing, access controls or provider safety systems;
• reverse engineer, resell or benchmark the Service except as expressly permitted in writing or through our partner program;
• interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service or other customers.

4. Credits, billing and taxes

The Service is prepaid. Credits are purchased in United States dollars and consumed according to the prices published in the console at the time of each request. Prices may change prospectively; a request is billed at the price shown when it is made.

Promotional or bonus credits are not purchased funds, are not refundable and may expire or be withdrawn if we detect abuse.

You are responsible for any taxes, duties or levies applicable to your purchase, other than taxes on our net income. Payment processing is handled by Stripe (cards) or Changelly (crypto), and their terms also apply.

5. Third-party models and outputs

Model providers may impose their own acceptable-use policies. You are responsible for complying with the terms of the provider whose model you call through Allgate.

AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete or offensive. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them, and you may not present them as professional legal, medical or financial advice.

6. Availability and maintenance

We work to keep the Service available, but it is provided on an "as available" basis. Scheduled maintenance, upstream outages and force majeure events may interrupt service. Where an interruption is caused by us and materially affects paid usage, we may, at our discretion, issue service credits.

7. Intellectual property

We and our licensors own the Service, including its software, branding and documentation. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription.

You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant us the limited rights needed to process that content and operate the Service, including transmitting it to the model provider you select.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, engage in fraud or abuse, or if required by law. You may stop using the Service at any time. Unused credits are handled under the Refund Policy.

9. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that any model will remain available.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid to us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or wilful misconduct.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide reasonable notice by email or in the console. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator’s registered place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought before the competent courts there, unless mandatory consumer law gives you a different forum.
